Yes, we ask that a decision maker for the property is present throughout the installation.

Each boiler installation is a unique undertaking with a number of contributing variables, but as a guide we advise that a combi to combi boiler swap could take up to 1 full day, whereas a boiler conversion could take up to 2 full days.
Yes, the installer on the day will remove your old boiler and dispose of this as long as it is safe to do so. They will also take away any packaging from the new boiler and leave your home clean and tidy.
We ask that our customers please make sure all rooms that will be used during an installation (the room in which a boiler is being removed from/being installed in and any rooms with a radiator) are fully accessible, clear and clean prior to our engineer’s arrival.
We don’t currently offer power flushes, we actually recommend this is done prior to installation to ensure any sludge in the system does not damage the new boiler. All iHeat boilers get a chemical flush, free of charge form our Gas Safe registered engineers once installed.
While both a power flush and chemical flush are designed to provide a deep cleanse of your central heating system, aiming to remove sludge, dirt and debris from the pipes, there are some key differences between the two. A power flush works by flushing hot water and a combination of chemicals at very high pressure through heating systems, a chemical flush does not rely on high pressure. Instead, chemical flushes use gravity and a cleaning inhibitor to empty the system of debris and then later refill it with clean water.
Usually any installations above the first floor require scaffolding, however we act on a case by case basis as each property and installation is unique.
iHeat subcontracts expert Gas Safe registered engineers, who have undergone a full onboarding process, including DBS checks.
