Warranties & guarantees

Learn about our coverage & guarantees

At iHeat, we stand behind every product we install and every service we provide. Our comprehensive warranty and guarantee coverage gives you peace of mind, knowing that your investment is protected.

All our installations come with manufacturer warranties, backed by our own installation guarantee and workmanship standards. Read on to understand what's covered and how to make a claim.

Product Warranties

All products we install come with manufacturer warranties that cover defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty periods vary by product type and manufacturer:

  • Boilers: Typically 2-10 years depending on manufacturer (Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, etc.)
  • Solar Panels: 25-year performance warranty, 10-12 year product warranty
  • Batteries: 10-year warranty on most battery storage systems
  • Air Conditioning: 2-5 years depending on manufacturer
  • Heat Pumps: 5-7 years manufacturer warranty

Warranty documentation is provided up to 30 days after installation completion. Please keep your warranty certificates safe, as they may be required when making a claim.

Installation Guarantee

What's Covered

Our installation guarantee covers the quality and safety of our installation work for 12 months from the date of installation completion.

  • Correct installation according to manufacturer specifications
  • Compliance with all relevant building regulations and standards
  • Proper commissioning and system testing
  • Any defects in installation workmanship

Workmanship Standards

All our installations are carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers (for gas work) and MCS certified installers (for renewable energy systems). We maintain the highest standards of workmanship and quality.

Quality Assurance

Every installation undergoes a quality check before completion. We ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and manufacturer requirements.

Certified Engineers

Our team consists of fully qualified, certified engineers with years of experience. All engineers are regularly trained on the latest products and installation techniques.

Parts & Labour Coverage

What's Included

Manufacturer Warranty Period

During the manufacturer's warranty period, defective parts are covered by the manufacturer. Labour costs for warranty repairs are typically covered for the first 1-2 years, depending on the product and manufacturer.

Extended Warranty Options

Many manufacturers offer extended warranty options that include both parts and labour for longer periods. We can help you understand and arrange extended coverage when available.

Service Plans

Our annual service plans provide ongoing maintenance through regular annual servicing. Please note that service plans are for maintenance purposes only and do not extend the 12-month workmanship warranty. They help keep your system running efficiently and extend its lifespan through preventative maintenance.
