Duracell Energy battery packages are available at our current quoted prices, and solar-and-battery packages from £8,685, including installation and VAT.

Your final price depends on the capacity, inverter, solar panels and electrical work your home needs. Your free proposal confirms the equipment and installation work included, with any backup requirements agreed before you book.

No, a suitable battery installation can work without solar panels. With a compatible time-of-use tariff, you can charge from the grid at cheaper times and use stored electricity when rates are higher.

If you have solar panels, a compatible battery can also store surplus generation for later. The savings depend on your electricity use, tariff, system settings and charging losses.

It may be possible, but your existing inverter and electrical setup need checking. We’ll review your panels, inverter, supply and available space before recommending a compatible installation.

Share the make and model of your existing equipment during your proposal call. Your design will confirm whether an additional or replacement inverter is needed.

Choose capacity around the electricity you can charge and use each day, rather than choosing the biggest battery. Your household usage, solar generation and off-peak charging window all matter.

Battery capacity in kWh describes stored energy; inverter output in kW affects how much power can be supplied at once. Usable capacity can differ from the advertised nominal capacity. We’ll explain both in your proposal and discuss future expansion where the selected equipment supports it.

Backup is not automatic with every battery installation. It needs compatible equipment, electrical isolation and a design that specifies the circuits to be supplied. Tell us if this is a priority before choosing your package.

The appliances supported depend on the inverter’s backup output and the circuits connected. Runtime depends on battery charge and the electricity those appliances use. Your proposal will confirm the backup arrangement and any additional work or equipment.

Your installer fits, tests and commissions the system, then explains operation and monitoring. Installation time and any interruption to your electricity supply depend on the agreed work; we’ll explain the plan before the installation.

The manufacturer’s warranty depends on the products in your package. Check the warranty duration, registration requirements and conditions for the battery and inverter in your proposal; they may differ.

You can pay in full by credit or debit card or apply for finance. Our solar and battery options include 12 months at 0% APR with a 25–50% deposit, or 24–120 months at 9.9% APR representative with a deposit from £250 up to 50%.
